Privacy notice
Last updated 18 August 2026. This notice explains how Manager Cachecore handles personal data when you visit manager-cachecore.digital or write to us.
Data controller
The controller is Manager Cachecore, 58 Main Rd; Fordstreet; CO6 4AN; United Kingdom. Email info@manager-cachecore.digital. Telephone 079 1892 4715. For United Kingdom data protection matters you may also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
What we collect
If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, optional topic, and message you type. We also receive technical data that any web host may log (IP address, user agent, time of request) to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. Cookie-related storage is described on the cookies page.
We do not ask for payment card numbers on this site. We do not require an account.
Purposes and lawful bases
We read enquiries to reply about courses, Field Notes, or the atelier (legitimate interests in running a teaching practice, and steps toward a contract if you ask to enrol). Host logs are processed for security and availability (legitimate interests). If you later enrol, we will send a more specific notice with that paperwork.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last reply, unless a longer period is required for a dispute or legal claim. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days unless an investigation is open. Cookie preference in your browser stays until you clear site data. We do not keep a parallel server copy of that preference on this static host.
Who we share with
Hosting, DNS, and email providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell lists. If a public authority in the United Kingdom lawfully requires disclosure, we will comply.
International transfers
Some infrastructure (for example font delivery or image hosts) may process requests outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the provider’s published transfer mechanisms, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision, and we minimise what those providers receive to the request needed to fetch a file. We do not upload your form message to an image host.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may ask for portability of data you provided. You may complain to the ICO. To exercise rights, write to info@manager-cachecore.digital with enough detail for us to locate your enquiry. We may need to confirm it is you.
Children
The site is aimed at working adults in product and engineering. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Automated decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
